Formación
Bachillerato en Artes de la Comunicación Pública, Magna Cum Laude, por la Universidad de Puerto Rico desde 2002.
Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, por la Universidad de Puerto Rico y admitida a la práctica de abogada y notaría en el Estado Libre y Asociado de Puerto Rico desde el 2005. Venegas también está admitida a la práctica de abogada en el Tribunal de Distrito de EE.UU. para el Distrito de Puerto Rico.
Maestría en Propiedad Intelectual y Sociedad de la Información (LL.M.) por ESADE, Facultad de Derecho Universidad Ramón Llull de Barcelona desde 2007.
Postgrado en Gestión de Empresas de la Industria de la Música por la Universidad Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona desde 2008.
Experiencia Profesional
Inició su carrera profesional de abogada en el Departamento de Justicia luego de trabajar durante toda su carrera en Derecho como asistente jurídica en importantes bufetes legales de Puerto Rico.
Ex – asesora legal en temas de propiedad intelectual, nombres de dominio, comercio electrónico, patentes y marcas a nivel nacional, comunitario e internacional de los despachos legales BGA Agencia Oficial de Patentes y Marcas y Lagencia sita en Barcelona con oficinas, además, en Sevilla y Madrid durante aproximadamente dos años.
Fue practicante en la compañía de música multinacional SONY BMG Music Entertainment en Madrid en los departamentos de División de Música, Desarrollo Internacional y el Departamento de Asuntos Legales. Trabajó en asuntos legales de artistas como Ana Torroja y Natalia Jiménez & la Quinta Estación. Además, participó en la creación y ejecución del plan de marketing y gira de promoción del grupo puertorriqueño de música urbana Calle 13.
Además, en su cartera de clientes se encuentra el cantautor de música urbana Tego Calderón, Chyno Nyno, el trombonista William Cepeda, el grupo de reggae puertorriqueño Gomba Jahbari, la agrupación musical infantil “Atención, Atención”, el canal de televisión puertorriqueño Wapa TV, entre otros.

Professional Experience:
Started her law career in the Justice Department of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico after working throughout her career in law as a legal assistant at local major law firms.
Ex – counselor for intellectual property, domain names, electronic commerce, patents and trademarks issues at a national, community and international level for BGA and also for Lagencia, both Patents and Trademarks Official Agencies located at Barcelona with offices in Seville and Madrid as well.
Venegas was also practitioner in the multinational music company Sony BMG Music Entertainment in Madrid for the Music Division, International Development, Legal and Business Affairs Departments. She worked on legal issues for artists such as Ana Torroja and Natalia Jiménez & “La Quinta Estación”. Also participated in the creation and implementation of the marketing plan and promotional tour of the Puerto Rican urban music group Calle 13 in Spain.
